ClearSky originates, finances, and executes MITECO reforestation and CAE efficiency projects. One counterparty, from land to registered tonne.
Talk to UsSpain's environment ministry has run the national carbon registry since 2014 and verifies projects directly, without a private auditor in between. ClearSky secures the land, funds the planting, and carries the project through registration.
Buyers start with annual compensation and grow into multi-year supply, a named forest, or the whole project.
Learn More →Spain legislated an annual energy-savings obligation. Obligated companies buy Energy Savings Certificates or pay the penalty.
ClearSky funds up to 100% of approved capex, runs engineering and certification, monetizes the certificates, and shares the verified savings with the host. No capital outlay. Lower energy bills.
Learn More →Registered MITECO supply sits with hundreds of small holders. A buyer who wants multi-year, project-backed volume has to assemble it from many of them, with a different standard of evidence each time.
ClearSky holds the land rights, funds the planting, and carries the delivery obligation. One contract, one counterparty, one point of recourse.
At year-end 2025 the MITECO registry held 1,250 absorption projects, approximately 10.65M tonnes of forecast lifetime absorptions, and approximately 171,857 initial available tonnes used for compensation.

Registry participation runs in three stages. Calculo establishes a baseline. Reduzco demonstrates improvement. Compenso offsets residual emissions. Participation signals maturity, not a purchase mandate.
Plan Compenso. Start with annual compensation. Grow from there.
Get in TouchSpain's 2026 energy-savings obligation is approximately 9,325 GWh, and up to 92% may be satisfied through CAEs. Obligated companies buy certificates rather than pay the penalty.

That demand funds the work. ClearSky covers up to 100% of approved capex on qualifying efficiency projects. The host pays nothing up front, keeps a share of every euro saved, and never touches the certificate process.

We have taken reforestation projects the whole way: land secured, planting funded, tonnes registered, credits placed.
We identify eligible land and agree terms with owners directly. Most of the supply in Spain sits with people who do not know they hold it.
Capex is released in tranches against verified milestones, on project-finance terms: secured, milestone-funded, principal first.
Planting, maintenance, and monitoring run through our Spanish operating company and delivery partners, to the registry's requirements.
Projects register under MITECO and credits move to buyers with the registry evidence attached.
Our ambition is to become Spain's largest independent MITECO reforestation developer.
